Important Notice

By accepting our quote or proceeding with any work, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

1. Work Area Requirements

All items MUST be removed from the floor work area.

PMTL will charge for having to move ANY items left in the work area.

Powell Multi Trader Limited accepts no responsibility for any items left in the work area.

2. Quote Agreement & Scope

You the client have discussed and agreed to all the items listed on this quote, to be completed only.

You the client have discussed / seen terms / notes and agreed to all the items listed on this quote, to be completed.

All quotes are valid for 30 days from date of issue.

All quotes must be approved ONLINE along with written CONFIRMATION of TERMS / AGREEMENTS and REQUIRED DEPOSIT before any works can be registered on the company.

3. Extras & Additional Work

Any and all extras will be confirmed by email or text before they can be completed.

ANY and ALL extras MUST be confirmed first by email before ANY extras can be completed.

The cost for any extras labor and/or materials not on this quote will be added to this bill.

4. Deposits & Payment Terms

A deposit will be required to secure materials.

A deposit of ($) will be required to secure materials / subcontractors and/or plant hire.

Deposit payments for works are required prior to work proceeding; remaining balance payments are strictly within 7 days from invoice date.

All invoices are payable within 7 days from the date of invoice.

A 5% surcharge per 7 days will be added to invoices for late payments.

5. Insurance & Liability

Powell Multi Trader Limited is fully insured and licensed to carry out all construction work outlined in our quotes.

All work is carried out in accordance with New Zealand Building Code and relevant safety regulations.

PMTL maintains public liability insurance and ensures all subcontractors are appropriately insured.

6. Warranties & Guarantees

All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of completion.

Material warranties are as per the manufacturer's specifications and warranty periods.

Any defects arising from workmanship will be rectified at no additional cost to the client.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or modifications made by others.

7. Project Delays & Force Majeure

PMTL will make every effort to complete projects within the agreed timeframe.

Delays caused by weather conditions, supply chain issues, or circumstances beyond our control will be communicated promptly.

PMTL is not liable for delays caused by force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication.

If resolution cannot be achieved, disputes may be referred to mediation or the Disputes Tribunal.

All disputes are subject to New Zealand law and jurisdiction.

9. Health & Safety

PMTL is committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety on all work sites.

All personnel are trained in safe work practices and comply with Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

Site-specific safety plans are developed for each project as required.

Clients and visitors must comply with all site safety requirements when accessing the work area.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

PMTL respects your privacy and handles all personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

Client information is used solely for the purpose of completing contracted work and business communications.

We do not share client information with third parties except where required for project completion or by law.
